I'm sure you've seen advertisements for Zaitek's book Market Timing Secrets all over the Internet. I'm not surprised! With a method that identifies reversals on a 1-minute chart with an accuracy of plus or minus 1-minute, it is quite unique and quite an achievement. It has managed to raise some undue criticism from those who obviously have not bothered to buy the book, or couldn't afford it.

Market Timing Secrets promises

To reveal the "Rosetta Stone" method that predicts every turn of the market.
That most of his techniques have never been seen, let alone revealed.
That his method can be applied to any market, no matter whether stocks, forex, futures, or foreign markets.

What does he deliver?

What do you get when you buy the book? Well, to start with:

Over 1400 exhibits detailing every reversal of the S&P 500 from 1970 to 2004.
Chapters on other active futures markets, forex and stocks.
Special software that finds the reversal dates.

What does it cost?

The current price is $4997 for private investors. The commercial package starts at $25,000 per year.

Considering I've seen other systems selling for $25,000 and more, I have to say that, at this price, it is the best value of any product I have seen or bought, and I have bought over 50 products in the last 18 months alone.

Delta Phenomenon is the closest thing to this I can think of, but this is far more accurate and though it is not as simplistic as Delta Phenomenon, it makes a lot more sense.

What's more important, this is probably the very last product I would ever need to buy.

If you can't afford it - borrow the money from your mother! I wouldn't be surprised to see the price go up again, or taken off the market - but that's just my opinion.

The value?

This truly is a breakthrough. There is no rehashing of old theories, this is fresh material that can't be found anywhere else. His theory would not have been so believable if not for the fact that he covered every reversal over a 14 year period with over 1400 exhibits.

An outstanding resource on market timing. Although it does in fact identify reversals on the 1 minute chart and the daily chart, the biggest value is in having a tool in anticipating a major (multi-year) reversal. Without it, it would be near impossible to know that a major reversal is in the making until several months have passed.

I can personally attest to the fact that his methods work. I applied the techniques to the S&P500 and grains, and saw my account grow as a result. That says it all.

If you want to make a serious income from trading, this book will do it.

Pros?

It gets right down to business and concentrates on the facts you need to know. Barely any filler.

It is right on the money with the tips and techniques it gives - they work!

It also includes links to valuable resources for everything you need to know implement his suggestions.

For $4997.00 it can't be beat! I have spent thousands of dollars on products that don't give the bottom line results of cash in the bank. I can't mention them here, but they're produced by some of the famous names in the business.

Cons?

If you are absolutely new to the investing in stocks, options and futures, and not familiar with the terminology, you will need to get up to speed with a more basic guide first. You are likely to find them for free at a broker's website. There is nothing for the beginner who don't yet know how to place an order or what to do with any of the signals.

The pro is also a con. Everything will be foreign to you. Everything is new material. So there is a learning curve. It is not a system that you will learn in one day (if it was that easy about a million other traders would have thought of it by now) There will be about a 30 day learning curve, but well worth the effort. It will reinvent the way you think of the market. Instead of following the market you will be placing "market at the close" orders -- knowing that it will reverse the next morning.

Other than that, I honestly can say there is not any downside to this book. It really delivers what it promises and contains excellent information to get you predicting the markets instead of trying to follow the market.

Does it REALLYwork?

Yes. It is accurate as he claims.

Well, knowledge is NOT power - APPLIED knowledge is power. It is what you make use of it. I can tell you that I was so fired up that I caught the low in the grain and S&P 500, I made more money to cover the cost of the book within the first month. Is it making $1,000,000? Not yet! But I believe this the system that can.
